03-14-14 " Knockout Games" 4.17 I think that the Knockout Game is stupid. I have seen news on it the last couple years. Danny matching it up to "Wilding Out" in the 80's. Wonder though why they went after a pregnant woman? Why not take the husband down and make him worry about his masculinity and how he couldn't protect his wife. But that did kinda come into effect anyway, I guess. But I know that Mike and Stephanie Rose were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They weren't singled out. I was surprised that Mike found Moses and took him out. I figured the painting the house would some how figure in things. Danny interrogating Willie Haywood in the trunk was a little over board. And I am surprised Baez didn't say something. "Reagan!??"
Then to have the family dinner help Danny make the right choice on whether to arrest Mike or not. I did figure some reason he would be back to arrest him. Or Stephanie found out and made him confess. Thorpe 3rd Person snitch for Danny was a odd snitch. Baez finding Pot is what got him to help?? So he isn't really a person that snitches easily. Does Danny have to play this game with him a lot? Or was he worried his gf would leave if he was found to be a snitch?
Erin and Jack on again and off again would have been a interesting storyline. But she pressed for more and he fled.
The Officer Timothy Doherty promotion story was interesting. Garrett at first not wanting to talk about it until Det. Baker let the story out. Henry and Garrett weighing in on it Then he talked to Doherty himself. Now we need to bring back Jackie to be his partner/trainer like Sgt. Anthony Renzuli did with Jamie. I do miss him. Then as in Jamie most episodes he isn't used much so Jackie could be a part timer that way. Because her "time off " has really stretched. I know the story but they haven't " tied it up" in the show.

04-11-14 "Secret Arrangements" 4.19 Jaimie and Edit Jenko's kissing was awkward. But it seems that they knew it too. The double date with his buddy Spencer Croft and her friend Hayley was fun to watch. Thought Spencer was going to turn out bad. Danny at least wasn't the only Detective being investigated. But he got mad thinking his father was investigating him. Frank came out with guidelines of what to do and don't do in interrogation. So it kinda helped save Danny?? Danny and his dad seem to have issues. Erin could have told Danny too.

05-09-14 "Exiles " 4.22 Well was surprised that Dino Arbogast was the one in the little black book. Not Danny like it tried to make you believe in the commercial. Surprised he was in on the suspension of Danny. Dino saluted Frank and he returned it, but later we see him burning his uniform. To bad he was a nice guy. The B story about Kasia Mazurski and Baltazar Aboud wanting to marry was nice. Eddie kinda fell for it as Jamie was wondering what he saw in her. We all must think it at a time or 2. Them planning to arrest her father Bartosz and his subsequently kicking her out of the family was a little rough. Must be Madam Eileen Clayton thought the DA sting was to much? That is why she fell to her death? Erin it almost seemed like was on DA Amanda Harris'es side for awhile. But she had to piss off a Reagan, lol Lindas "grace" at the dinner table was cute. All Reagan men in uniform. With Danny and Walt Finney goading each other then the charge was against Danny, I figured it was all Finney. Or atleast him and his associate Investigator Bangs. Like when Danny's tire was flat and he blamed it on the "child" Finney. Banks had to hold Finney from getting out to come after Danny. So did Finney slash Danny's tire?? I figured he was after Danny. So was nice to see Finney and Bangs arresting Amanda. Who will be Erins boss next, the speed dating lawyer or Jack her ex? Also I think that Kelli Peterson likes Frank and that was bad for her position. That is why she is resigning. Maybe there will be some dating next season unless she leaves town. Franks speech to the Academy was good.

Season Premier 09-28-14 "Partners" 5.01 The case of Lt. James McCarthy having another Officer taze Owen Stapleton and he falls in front of a moving bus made me feel bad. he was being a nuisance and wasn't stopping his spitting and jumping around. But when Frank told Garrett he would not talk to McCarthy I figured he would. Hearing from Sargent Gromley and others how good McCarthy was, I knew would make Frank talk to him. He came to his home which was nice. I wasn't sure if telling Frank that next time you would make a different call was good or not. I would think Frank wouldn't want him second guessing him self in future. Thought he should have told Frank he would do the same call if it happened again. But maybe Frank feels he shouldn't make the same mistake twice. Later he drives drunk and is in a bad accident. Just couldn't handle the incident. Made me feel bad. Franks speech was a good one.
We see that Danny and Baez work well together when they have to but she has had complaints about Danny taking charge. Detective Maria Baez is growing on me, but I really miss Jackie. Wish she could come back even part time. Have a new partner or have all desk time. Baez getting hurt on the cocaine burn run was a pretty rough heist. I had thought that the driver, Agent Susan Martinez was in on the caper. But we see later she was not. Danny jumping on the truck was good but then he fell off. Couldn't he shoot out a tire?
I figured that Javi Baez would get in to deep and end up dead. Liked the actor on Prime Suspect. Maria will be feeling bad for a while, He was trying to impress his sister.
Now Jamie and Eddie is another matter. They both do have eyes for each other. But after Jamie is over zealous with a guy that pushed Eddie to the ground, he is called in to talk to Sargent Anthony Renzulli. Miss him on once in awhile. He believed that Jamie had no feelings for Officer Edit Jenko. But Erin definitely could tell Jamie was in denial. But he did decide to keep working with her and stop his feelings for her. I don't think she was sure what was up with Jamie after that. Not sure that Eddie will get the message. Wonder if Jamie can handle it too.

10-03-14 "Forgive and Forget" 5.02 Frank and the Boomer Esiason Celebrity cameo was a bit much. But he should have been on as a business man or something. But it was nice he was there for a kids fund. Busy Episode: Jamie helping out fellow Officer Kara Walsh was a nice thing. I thought it would drive a wedge between him and Janko. But she came around. The shootout at the end with Janko being the only team coming to help I thought would make her see Jamie is right and Kara is a good person. Jamie had the right to be mad at Officer Reynolds, and there will be guys like that who don't change their minds right away. I figured Eddie would be jealous.
Frank has to help an old friend Detective Chris Scanlon that shot his partner. Frank helps him decide to retire. Good call.
Then Erin showing Danny that Damon Williams has changed and should not be charged with murder. That is hard to be between the deceases family and the Killer. That was good. Marcus Greene should have met with Damien Williams face to face instead of trying to kill him. it had to be kind of a hard choice for Danny. The family dinner always shows how opinions of 4 generations can so differ. Henry stands for the old ideals. You never rat out a brother officer and you back your partner no matter what. We have seen that topic come up before. You also do as you are told or how the rules are drawn. But he never had to put up with some of today's problems. He didn't have to worry about male and female coworkers wanting more then just a working partner. He never put up with a gay cop. He never had to worry about a officer 2nd guessing orders or a partner. They did as told or they got another line of work. Frank is in the middle being the current Commissioner. He wants to stay with tradition but he sees that sometimes you have to bend the rule on an individual situation. He likes to see both sides of the story, and he gets a lot of input before he makes a decision. Danny seems to have more Henry in him and does at times bend (like for the gay actor who followed him to learn for a part). He is at times pig headed, but can bend. That is why he buts heads with Erin so often. He thinks most cases are cut and dry. She does not. Then we get to Jamie. He probably is more like his mother. He thinks everyone is basically good and just needs help and reassuring. He can see both Erin's(legal) and Danny's side(mostly) of most cases. He, same as Danny knows right from wrong, and tries to do the right thing.
Erin and her new love interest Robert McCoy, may make it tough for him to be her new boss, but I hope if he is, we will see him more then once every 3 episodes.

10-10-14 "Burning Bridges" 5.03 Danny and Baez had to play mediator between 2 partners after Detective Alex Furentes is found to be gay. His partner Jerry Demerest, at first didn't want to work with him. But he learned later that Alex was no different then before. Danny and Baez going to Jersey to meet Chief Monroe(Franks old friend) was a trip. Chiefs choice of words for different people was bad. I like how Danny and Baez arrested son Kevin Monroe and friend Todd Kowalchuk in NY. Wonder if Danny told Frank about Chief Monroe?
Detective Mike Hofferman razed Jamie and stole his collars. Jamie and Eddie are cool and get back at him. But on the "Spiderboy" Davey Lugo, collar, Jamie does the right thing and gives him to Hofferman instead of steal the credit himself. Cardinal Greg Brennen(Actor played baddie on CSI, and Psychologist on L&O:SVU), seems to be helping his friend Frank.

10-17-14 "Excessive Force" 5.04 I kinda thought with Sargent Gormley complaining in the staff meeting about the new and old Police style that he might replace Dino. Since also Frank and Garrett talked about replacing him. Who will replace Gormley? I would say move up Sargent Anthony Renzulli, but I know he isn't a Detective. What actually does Detective Abigail Baker do in Frank's office, open doors?
Jamie seeing "Dr. Lambchops", Jennifer Bennett, we can see it makes partner Eddie Jenko jealous. She pretty much admitted it but didn't say it in the bar. But it would be hard to have it both ways. Being one of the boys, but wanting to be Jamie's only girl. "Let's go shoot darts, drink beers" she said. But I thought in bar she was going to kiss Jamie. They start dating then she will have to pair up with Cara Walsh. The one that ratted on her partner from a couple episodes back. Jamie will have to pick another Officer from the precinct.
Almost thought we would see a Cardinal Greg Brennen vs. Reverend Darnell Potter! I hated that he manipulated But maybe he believed what Jessy Lincoln said and use it to try and get back at the Police/Frank. We will see if letting Potter slide on this will come back to bite the Reagan's. Maybe Frank should have taped the convo in the Restaurant. I to worried that Ernesto was going to say what heard Danny say about pushing Jessy out the window himself. But his family finally did the right thing. I know they were scared being illegals and worrying the Police would deport them. And probably Rev. Potters people helped enforce that fear.

12-12-14 "Under The Gun" 5.09 When Linda was being mugged, it was good that she yelled and the kid took off. Later when she saw him and a buddy laughing and joking on the bench, did she think of her own kids? Maybe why she just called 911 instead of confront him? I figured Danny would compare the other nurse and using it to Linda's experiences. I was surprised how Danny talked to Linda after he found out she had been mugged. Linda was worried when Jamie came into gun store. Linda used the Reagan family card to get her license quick. I did like at the house where Frank told both Erin and Jamie not to tell Danny, and Jamie replying that Frank will have to face Danny if he found out Jamie knew. Unlike the other Nurse, Leslie Caitlyn O'Rourke, that wounded the perp,(Winslow Martin), Linda didn't want to carry a gun.
Must be Eddie Jenko(the actress) was off today, that is why Jamie was on a day off. If she was not on set then have the actress that played Officer Cara Walsh(the one he paired with before after she had ratted on a fellow officer), and have her on patrol with Jamie. I know it didn't fit the story line.
I didn't think that the 3 killed community leaders was a Anti-Semitic killing. This show uses headline news but puts a different twist on them. It was a nice change that Frank was not in the majority when he didn't think that the community leaders, headed by Donald Stein(Alias, Flashpoint, Charlies Angels(He did Charlies voice on the last rendition), and Naomi, who wanted to hire Private Security to watch the Synagogues. But Frank thought it looked bad for his force. He did finally apologies. Garrett and most of the Reagan family were against Frank's thinking. It was nice that Danny, Baez and Leon Bendix worked together to solve who the killer was by having the 3 dead(,Judge,Lawyer, Doctor), on same case. Good that Calvin Benton of "People's Front" didn't do it. They went from white supremacy to guarding our borders.
Erin's court case about Arthur Kent, and his men holding Jason Gordon, Olivia's brother could have been better to me if they had others in her dept. that we saw and would make it harder to figure out who swapped the gun. I at first thought it had to be Detective Lewis Harding that did it, because Olivia was the only other suspect that we saw and she acted to nice. I like Investigator Alex McBride. He should be Erin's bf, not the invisible DA. it was nice that Olivia Gordon stood up to the kidnappers and I hope they find her brother. See Jamie could have been in on that bust.

01-01-15 'Sins of the Father" 5.10 Nice to see Sargent Sidney Gormley move up to Lieutenant. Also wondering that with Officer Brent Miller moving up to Detective 3rd grade, will he be Jamie's partner if and when he becomes a Detective? I figured when Frank recognized Donald Miller that with who the actor is it would be someone bad. But between being married to Phyllis, and having a son that's a cop and going along with Henry's messed up memories, I thought maybe he was innocent. But with Frank going to talk to him I figured, nope he's Donald DeCarlo and guilty. Nice for Detective Jimmy Nuciforo to use Henry's cuffs to take him to jail. I did like that after Frank asked Brent to ask his father if he did it, that it seemed he had a wire to and Frank told DeCarlo a little white lie that he ordered him to do it. This way dad won't hate son. But I am surprised that he would tell him he murdered Officer Steven Dixon in 1976.
The hit and almost run case was kind of interesting. Carlos Santiago who was thought to have hit the girl Mia. He was stopped in his car by people in the neighborhood until Police arrived. Detective Rhonda Buckley didn't believe Eddie when she had a witness to 2 people being in the car. But Jamie didn't believe her "gut instincts" either for awhile. Eddie told him,"Learn to trust me!" Detective Buckley told them to stop trying to mess up her case. They figure maybe son Ted was the driver but with his Vanderbilt baseball scholarship he won't admit to it. Was quite surprising that mom, Gloria, brought both son and father to the Precinct! Detective Buckley was quite surprised.
Danny and Baez's case was a bit more strange until I saw that daughter Jesse, committed suicide. Then maybe the family fell into my suspect list. Especially when Danny and Baez visited Janice Phillips at their motel and husband Jerry was "out". Danny must like "'performers". He was intrigued at the porn movie studio, and before when the males dressed as females. But others in the production at Cinema Kitty Productions,(something like that)were being killed off. Cat Halloway said she had partied to much. But the parents said they seduced her and she couldn't handle it and committed suicide. So Curtis Fallows was first, shot. Nice they thought he owed money. But bookie(?), Max Murdock said he was ok. Then they have Alana Robbins, this time stabbed to death. Different MO? But they worked together. Actually the 2 seduced Jesse. Maybe why they are dead? Director Jake Gayley was shot. ME Doc. Laura Trent Tells them that there are 2 different killers. Then Danny and Baez catch Janice Phillips trying to kill Cat Halloway. So both are arrested for murder. I guess that Jesse was their whole life. I feel sorry for them, but that was not the way to solve it.
To me the 3 cases made it hard at times to follow all 3 stories.

02-13-15 "Bad Company" 5.18 Jamie didn't think Eddie could handle being under cover. I know how bad it hit her to shoot the one guy a few episodes back. Maybe that is why he thought it? I thought Tatiana may have been forced to help at first kidnap the girls. But Eddie did good and using her first name Edit, and some of her family history made it easier I think. Her clobbering the kidnapper with the toilet tank cover and then a 2nd clunk for good measure was cool.
I like Investigator Alex McBride, he works good with Erin.I think they would make a good couple. Her most of the time missing DA boss/bf isn't right for her.
Garrett must have been out of town. Liked Det. Baker having a little more to do.
I liked Henry having a female friend. I have been surprised he hasn't had buddies from the precinct or neighbors over for coffee sometimes. I thought at first maybe she would be after his money. Then when Erin had McBride check deep in her history then I figure she had to be bad, or Erin would not find anything and look bad. Silvia Hayden who's real name is Silvia Ann Burke, she had a warrant out for her in Florida.
Did like Frank going with Sarah Grant to meet Donald Berry the murderer of her family. I was surprised she had the guts to do it. It was odd he had found God but didn't want her forgiveness. Also him being able to send her a letter was strange. Maybe if it was read and approved by someone first. Was surprised future hubby was not involved. But if he wasn't around back when the incident happened, it would only be for emotional support. And that is what Frank was for. But Berry was going to help others, I hope that works. The wedding part was nice. Frank was so proud
