Loved when Frank was waiting for the real rapist and asked him if he knew who he was ... Take my hand, remember I have your back and the 35,000 cops that work for me ... lol ...
How could anyone even think of letting their 14 yr old daughter go downtown on the subway at night ? Over protective my butt ... Sensible ...

'Blue Bloods tonight ... 'A Night on the Town' ...
"Spoiler'
Danny and Linda plan a romantic weekend ... The unknown Reagan is Linda, imo ... She seems whining and needy but maybe this epi will open her character up a bit ... ??

I enjoyed Jamie in this epi ... Don't usually care for him unless he's with Renzulli ... He realized that Nobel might not be as bad as the rest of his family ... Didn't care for his attraction to the sister, she looks like the one that's bad news ...
I had a chuckle at Henry forgetting where he put the tickets, having Erin try and 'help' him remember, and Frank finally figuring it out ... A big diss to 'The Book of Mormon', I don't know anything about it but it was definitely put down by Erin and the rest ...
Linda turned out good ... Yey!! No whining or sulking, just 'ready' !! lol ...
Maybe the new producers will be OK after all ... Good epi ...

I only saw the first half because i wasn't feeling well but i thought it strange that Jamie a "rookie" would be allowed to go under-cover. That is usually reserved for the more seasoned cops. But it is tv.
Did Linda and Danny finally get their "naughty" weekend?
Missed that whole Book of Mormon thing. Kinda of glad though because i don't like dissing other people's religion but the Reagan's are strict Catholics so it does kind of make sense. Or was it suppose to be a "dig" at Mitt Romney and the GOP debates. I guess we will just have to wonder about that.

Afterwards they discovered who Nobel was and he was pursuing Jamie to thank him etc. ... I don't know about regular protocol but this was an oppurtunity 'to go where no man has gone before' ... lol ...
Yes, Linda and Danny had their night ...
The Book of Morman is the name of a play on Broadway ... I guess I wasn't very clear to someone who hadn't watched the epi The tickets Frank put away and couldn't find, were to a play, a 'sensation', that was nameless until the tickets were found ...
From NY Times Theatre Reviews: ... "Now you should probably know that this collaboration between the creators of television’s “South Park” (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) and the composer of “Avenue Q” (Robert Lopez) is also blasphemous, scurrilous and more foul-mouthed than David Mamet on a blue streak. But trust me when I tell you that its heart is as pure as that of a Rodgers and Hammerstein show."
Woweee !! Its a good thing Frank and Henry didn't take Danny and Linda's boys to that ... lol ...

Poor Danny that wife of his continually puts a guilt trip on him, and its wrong. He wanted this "romantic" get-a-way as much as her, but his duty calls, and he goes, and she always throws some kind of hissy fit. The boys with grampa and great-grand-pa was poignant and cute Frank giving them solid advice. He's so great. Such a good show ;D

Don't know about anywhere else in the country but CBS changed their Friday night schudule where i live. Here i was looking forward to new episodes of NY and Blue Bloods and when i changed my channel at 9:00 i got a repeat of CSI-Miami then at 10:00 a repeat or NY. Was it because of the final game of the World Series and CBS didn't want to complete with that? Very strange. I was looking forward to the Halloween episode on CSI-NY. All week and day they kept advertising the new episodes of both shows.
Apparently i was right. Just read on csi files that the network changed the line-up because of the last game of the World Series.

WOW, what a great episode. Jamie and his partner went to investigate a robbery at a Church, and go shoved down the stairs, and were injured. It was a fake call from the Rev. who for his own selfish reasons wanted the publicity. In the end it was him who paid a low-life to make the bougus call. Meanwhile Frank was distured by the "racist" part ot the whole issue. So many other twists and turns, plus the always poignant family dinner, where everyone discusses everything. Also Frank got offered a Mayor position, which her turned down. I sure wished either Tom Selleck or Donnie Walhberg were on CSI, rather than what-his-face. Their both so good
